Themes and Styles of Title Sequences
Theme is the overall idea that exists in a subject, that acts like a foundation of a piece of art or another medium. The theme gives the audience a general idea of what to expect within the film or show. In the opening sequence for dexter, the theme is thriller, this is portrayed with the ketchup that connotes blood which is usually associated with thrillers. The opening title sequence uses many other methods to connote killing/ blood also, such as the chopping of the meat, its done in such a violent way it sends enigma codes to the audience, suggesting theres cutting of bodies or killing in general throughout the show.
Style is the method used for making the title sequence, and its aesthetics. Style is symbolic and shows how something is usually created. it an use an innovative editing technique, colour or camera angle to stand out from others.
A good example of a style is in the opening title sequence for Super bad, the bad quality and bright lights connotes a 70's theme throughout the sequence. Also the old disco style music, and the actors silhouettes dancing in a disco way help to support the 70's theme.

Ideas For Title Sequence
Genre: Horror
The idea is two sisters leading a double live's
For the first sister:
In her normal life she comes across as a hard working business woman, going about her day to day duties, work etc, but at home in her basement, her obsession with killing men comes alive as she Slaughters them with help from her sister.
the second sister is the one that lures the men in, using her charm to persuade them back to her house, drugging them till they've lost all consciousness.
the film would be targeted at 18+
I want the title sequence to connote their obsession with killing men, and the idea of it being from their messed up past.
